How
is the Warner Area TimeBank doing?
The Warner Area TimeBank officially began operating in the Fall of 2009.
After several small presentations at various locations within the town of
Warner to explain what Time Banking is all about, there were enough people
interested in making it happen.
As of last count we
are now 35 members!
Among these members, there have been over two dozen service
exchanges, including:
-
cordwood stacking;
-
mushroom discovery & recognition;
-
garden roto-tilling;
-
window washing;
-
guitar music performance at a Pot Luck dinner;
-
website updating & maintenance;
-
designing invitations on your own
computer;
-
computer help (Mac);
-
knitting lessons;
-
pet sitting (& walking, too!);
-
preparing vegetarian meals;
-
desktop publishing services;
-
ride provided to airport;
